One of these seven Masters, Kirei Kotomine, doesn’t seem very interested in getting this Holy Grail, while Kiritsugu Emiya fights with all his strength to get it.

While Itami helps civilians escape, the Self-Defense forces arrive and quickly get rid of these enemies from another world since the modern weapons of the military are much more potent than the old weapons these enemies use to kill themselves.

If you love anime like Re: Zero, don’t miss out on this series.

10. Fate/Stay Night (2004)

Fate/Stay Night is an anime like Re: Zero you will enjoy. In the Holy Grail War, seven Masters fight it out in the Japanese city of Fuyuki.

The last one will be able to get the Grail and make their deepest wish come true by using their magic and the servants they have already called.

FATE is the easiest to get to and also the most popular scenario. Shir and his servant, Saber, are at the story’s center.

In this story, the hero will never give up on his ideals, even if it means denying reality. In this case, Shir is seen as a child by most people.

The first anime series made by Studio Deen in 2006 is mainly based on this plot, but it also takes some small parts from the other two.

The manga by Datto Nishiwaki is also a mix of this plot and Unlimited Blade Works.

You can’t attack Archer with the Saber until you finish the FATE scenario and unlock Unlimited Blade Works.

In FATE, you can also get to this scenario by not working with Rin, but this always leads to a Bad End.

The main characters in the story are Rin, Shir, and Archer. We learn a lot about the past of the second person, which we didn’t know about in the first scenario.

So began the Grand Order initiative, a plan to fix the strange things that happened in history when the Holy Grails were scattered across time and space.

The last Master of Chaldea, Ritsuka Fujimaru, and his half-servant, Mash Kyrielight, used the Rayshift to travel back in time and fix six Singularities.

When they return from the Camelot Singularity, they must go to Mesopotamia in 2655 BC, during the Age of the Gods.

This is the most dangerous place they have ever been. Ritsuka and Mash quickly discover that demons are roaming the area and attacking people and towns as soon as they arrive.

Uruk, a fortress city that serves as the frontline of the battle against the beasts, is humanity’s last line of defense.

King Gilgamesh, the King of Heroes, is in charge of the front lines of the battle. He called on heroic spirits to protect his city and became a mage.

In real life and video games, Sora and Shiro are inseparable brother and sister (they are not brother and sister but see each other as such). As a team, their skills make them unbeatable.

Sora has a sharp intuition, great culture, a very high IQ, and unwavering insight, while Shiro has an intelligence beyond genius. In the real world, they are hikikomori and like to be alone.

In the video game world, they all play as white, a mysterious group of online gamers who have never lost and always come first in their games.

Because the names of character accounts are always blank, they are called “White.” Don’t miss this series if you are a fan of anime like Re: Zero.

14. Grimoire of Zero (2017)

His dreams come true, though, when he meets a witch named Zero by chance one day.

She offers to turn him into a human if he takes her with him as his bodyguard while he looks for a magic book.

The two start their journey together, bound by this agreement. Similar to anime like Re: Zero, the mercenary protects Zero even though he doesn’t like witches.

15. WorldEnd (2017)

A mysterious man who lost everything in his last battle five hundred years ago and had been awakened from a long, cold sleep appears in the lives of these beings, whose lives are unstable and short-lived.

A simple call to death can happen at any time. Willem can no longer fight, so he becomes the father these children never had.

He cares for and protects them while he tries to adjust to his new life, including the pain of waiting for her loved ones to return after the battle her “daughter” had already been through.

Kokkoro and Yuuki go to a nearby guild association and take on a simple mission to earn money for their trip.

Rudeus decides to walk Eris back home after a magical disaster sends them far away.

During his journey, Rudeus gets advice from the mysterious Hitogami and becomes friends with Ruijerd Speldia, whose honor he will try to restore.

19. Fate/Apocrypha (2017)

The story is similar to anime like Re: Zero. In this world, the House of Einzbern has summoned a Ruler instead of an Avenger for the Third Holy Grail War, and the Holy Grail has been taken from the city of Fuyuki so that it can be sent to Romania after the war.

So, nothing happened in Fate/Zero and Fate/stay night. The story’s main focus is the Holy War between the Reds and the Blacks.

Each side calls on seven Servants, and the Grail calls on a special Ruler-class servant to help settle the conflict.

The Clock Tower Mages Association sent the Red faction’s mages, while the Yggdmillennia, a Romanian family of mages, sent the Black faction’s mages.

So, the curtain goes up on a new era for the Holy Grail War, with its new rules. A huge war on a scale that has never been seen before is about to start.

20. Overlord (2015)

Once upon a time, the final curtain call was upon us in the vast digital world of Yggdrasil.

This legendary online game has stood the test of time for 12 long years.

Momonga, the protagonist of this anime-like tale, had no idea what he was in for.

Momonga had spent countless hours in the game, relishing every moment.

He had grown to love this virtual world more than the real one he lived in.

With no family, friends, or love life to speak of, Yggdrasil was the only place where he felt truly alive.

As the announcement of the game’s impending shutdown rang out, despair consumed Momonga.

How could he bear to lose the only place he had any sense of belonging? But little did he know that his life was about to take a sharp turn towards the extraordinary.

Similar to anime like Re: Zero, this story will take you on an intriguing ride of emotions.

Will Momonga find a way to hold onto the only world that gave his life meaning?

Or will he finally embrace reality and start anew? You’ll have to dive into the world of Yggdrasil and experience this epic tale for yourself.

21. Grimgar Of Fantasy And Ashes (2016)

A group of people wakes up in a world that looks like a video game.

They have to destroy what is threatening world peace, and as they do, their memories start to fade.

The comprises Manato Haruhino, a thief, a dream catcher, Shihoru, a wizard, Mogzo Warrior, and the Knight of Ranta.

The setting is perfect for seeing how the characters change as they progress. Similar to anime like Re: Zero, there are several episodes.

Grimgar stands out in a sea of anime because he is a fantastic work of art.

Like the watercolor effect, this is a realistic way to talk to kids who are being taken to another world.

Fans worldwide can find it, but it is still one of the most versatile global series because it has more made-up parts than any other series in this subgenre.

22. No Game No Life (2014)

We are a little bit away from time travel at this point. I don’t have enough time to go here.

But only a few kids were taken to a made-up world and asked to figure out how it worked.

Even though this isn’t a head-to-head comparison, this is what you get if RE: Zero is the idea of bringing modern people into the world of fiction.

Sora and Shiro are related to each other in their normal world.

But one day, they were taken to a made-up world called Disboard, where all disagreements were settled by playing and winning a game.

From what they remember, this was easy for both of them to do.

In addition to the speed of the second season, the series is the most popular fast-paced anime in the world, with 12 episodes.

This series is a must-see if you follow anime like Re: Zero.

23. Akame Ga Kill (2014)

Akame Ga Kill is as thrill-filled as anime like Re: Zero.

Tatsumi is a new member of the Starry Sky of Night Raid, a group that kills people for the government in secret.

He wanted to get enough money to help people and send them back to their families.

But he quickly found out that everything he thought he knew about the country where he lived was a lie.

Tatsumi, a country boy, goes to the capital with two friends from his childhood to make a name for himself. He wants to get money so he can help poor people.

But his life changed significantly when thieves attacked him, and he had to leave his friends.

Most of the time, a dangerous-looking assassin named Night Reds tells Tatsumi how badly his missing friend died.

After meeting the Night Raid, Tatsumi joins the Night Raid, which is the assassination arm of the Revolutionary Army, to save the country from the tyranny of the kingdom.

24. Higurashi: When They Cry (2002)

Keiichi Maebara ripped up his life and moved to a small village in the middle of nowhere. There, he quickly made friends.

He was shocked that many people had died or gone missing while he was in this quiet town, and he was even more shocked that no one would answer his questions about these things.

He has to find out what went on in the city. In Higurashi When They Cry’s second season, Kai picks up the ending story, chases after his group of friends, and thinks back to the summer of 1983. Rika Furude did everything she could to save her friend’s life.

Together, they try to figure out who is doing this and how to stop it. Season 2 of Higurashi isn’t about returning in time but stopping bad things from happening.

The two main characters in an anime have to do them repeatedly and try to change the score each time.

It feels a lot more like magic than adventure. But it also tries to figure out what happened and what will happen next.

Even though it’s a little dark, there’s a cute girl! This is one anime like Re: Zero you should see.

25. Madoka Magica (2011)

Madoka Magica is a new kind of anime about magical girls. It started like any other anime about magical girls but soon worsened.

People are dying all over the place, but that’s not the worst thing in this anime.

Madoka, who is 14 years old, has a strange dream about a strange girl, a moray eel, and a huge animal.

The next day, the dream woman discovers she is a transfer student. Homura, Madoka, and Sayaka’s friend meet a strange creature. It reminds me of a weird cat named Kyubey.

Kyubey makes a magical girl contract with Madoka and fights against the witch, and her wish comes true. Don’t miss this series if you enjoy anime like Re: Zero.

26. Erased (2017)

Satoru Fujinuma can go back in time because he has a magical ability. But it can come back at any time. 18 years ago, he went somewhere and got stuck.

Satoru is a skilled and enthusiastic cartoonist. When something terrible happens, he will come back in time. He used what he could do to save some lives.

Someone died near him one day, and everyone thought he had done it. This time, he was fired 18 years before one of his classmates was killed, which was a tragedy.

He needs to stop these terrible things from happening, save lives, and change the future.

When I saw life start over in a different world, I thought Erased happened immediately.

Zero starting from the beginning, Erased will pull you into constantly changing episodes, just like Satoru’s ability to go back in time.

And try again to avoid a sad ending. But when this happens, they don’t have much to do about it.

No question, Erased has a lot of funny parts, but there are no cute, mysterious creatures.

But Satoru’s small remarks and responses made people laugh and smile. Fans of anime like Re: Zero, tune in and watch!

27. Steins; Gate (2009)

Steins; Gate, an anime about a crazy scientist named Rintarou Okabe and his friends who were sent away, was a big hit, and its colorful and funny characters were a big part of that.

Even though the story took a dark turn, it is still considered one of the best anime series.

Again, time travel is the clear link. And, just like in the animation above, Steins has people who must change their past in some way to change the way they behaved before, save lives, or stop a disaster.

It’s like a science fiction movie. But there are a lot of surprises and bad things that can happen if you make the wrong choices, and many fans agree that if you like anime like Re: Zero, you will like Steins; Gate.

28. Punchline (1988)

Yuuta Iridatsu is a boy who passes out whenever he sees a girl’s underwear.

One day, ghost-like spirits from Utah walk around an apartment building where Mikatan, Rabura, and Ito work as servants.

But when the asteroid is this excited, it destroys the Earth in this way.

Yuuta tries to avoid problems and knows what he can do and how he relates to the girl I just mentioned.

In Punchline, our heroes must follow in their footsteps without getting too much from them to stop death and other nasty things from happening.

She starts as if she is in a different world, with cute, funny girls and cute, floating cats. There’s another chance to make money in lingerie!

Punchline’s art and character design are also great, and with a few unexpected twists, makes it is similar to anime like Re: ZERO.

29. Orange (2010)

The story lets Naho Takamiya, in high school, get a message from herself in the future and talk about her biggest regret.

Naho’s future autonomous commandos tell Kakeru Naruse, a student, that this anime might be good for people who like romantic anime.

It’s not just another high school anime where girls are just things. There is a feeling of danger.

This might be interesting to people who like dark animated shows. Similar to anime like Re: Zero, it has many episodes.
