The Marvel Cinematic Universe has been a hit among fans. After all, the films have combined some of our favorite superheroes into one big roster of characters that can be used in different ways for different films. 

And now, with Phase 4 on the horizon, we could see more of these characters coming together for major team-ups and storylines in future films.

So if you’re wondering what avengers video game characters are in the avengers or who else might be joining them to fight evil forces around the world—we’ve got answers!

1. War Machine

War Machine (James Rupert Rhodes) is a fictional character that appears in American comic books published by Marvel Comics.

He is a superhero appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. His first appearance was in Iron Man vol. 1. David Michelinie and John Romita Jr created the character.

War Machine is the alias of several different characters over the years, but most notably US Air Force Lieutenant Colonel James “Rhodey” Rhodes, who was injured during a battle involving Tony Stark’s armor while attempting to save the latter’s life from an explosive device planted there by Obadiah Stane.

Rhodey used one of Tony’s light armor to become his protector, eventually becoming known as War Machine.

Rhodey, one of the avengers video game characters, would continue as Iron Man for some time after this.

The War Machine Armor MK II version features increased durability and flight capabilities compared with its predecessor; it also possesses weapons capable of firing nuclear warheads at targets more than 100 miles away.

2. Iron Man

Iron Man is a fictional superhero in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. The character was created by writer and editor Stan Lee, developed by scripter Larry Lieber, and designed by artists Don Heck and Jack Kirby.

Iron man, one of the most iconic Avengers video game characters, made his first appearance in Tales of Suspense with the original name Tony Stark.

Other characters in “Iron Man” include Tony Stark’s father, Howard Stark, brother Ted Stark, son Teddy Altman and grandson Robert “RJ” Jameson.

An unrelated costumed crimefighter also uses the alias Industrialist and works with Captain America during World War II as part of the Invaders.

 Later, he adopts his grandfather’s Iron Man identity while working for SHIEL..D. During this time, he became an ally of Spider-Man, saving him from Doctor Octopus’ attack with the help of other heroes, including Captain America and Thor, after which he continued to work alongside them during their fight against Thanos when he decided to destroy Earth using a device known as “The Infinity Gauntlet.”

3. Hawkeye

You may wonder who Hawkeye is and why he’s so important to the Avengers. Look at his backstory: Clint Barton was born in Waverly, Iowa, in March of 1955. 

He grew up to have a normal childhood like any other kid, but one thing set him apart from everyone else—he had a knack for archery!

As he got older, he became an expert marksman with his bow and arrow and joined an archery club at college, where he met his future wife (and fellow superhero), Mockingbird.

When Tony Stark started recruiting superheroes for The Avengers Initiative, Hawkeye was one of the first people on board, among other avengers video game characters.

Since then, he has helped save our world countless times by using his unparalleled archery skills against villains like Ultron or Loki! 

In addition to being an efficient soldier on the battlefields of Earth-616 (the Marvel universe), Hawkeye has also starred in several animated series, including “The Super Hero Squad Show” (2009–2013) and “Ultimate Spider-Man” (2012–2015).

4. Wasp

Wasp is a founding member of the Avengers and the daughter of Hank Pym. She’s also one of the most powerful avengers video game characters, with super strength and flight capabilities.

In Marvel’s Avengers video games, Wasp appears as a playable character in “Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2,” “Marvel Pinball,” and “Avengers Initiative.”

In these games, she can use her wings to fly around levels while using them to attack enemies by swiping at them or throwing stingers.

She can also shrink down into a bug size while carrying two other player characters on her back so they can fly around too!

5. Captain Marvel

Captain Marvel is the alter ego of Carol Danvers, who was introduced as a supporting character in 1975’s “Marvel Super-Heroes.” 

As one of the avengers video game characters, Captain Marvel has undergone several iterations and title changes (Ms. Marvel, Warbird), but she’s best known for her time as Captain Marvel in the 70s and 80s.

Captain Marvel made her debut in “The Avengers” film franchise in 2012, where she played a pivotal role in “Avengers: Age of Ultron.” She later returns for “Avengers: Endgame.”

6. Hulk

Hulk is a playable character in this game. You can unlock him by completing the story missions for Captain America, Iron Man, and Thor, and he is one of the strongest avengers video game characters.

Hulk’s moves include:

  • Hulk Smash (A) – This move will allow you to jump into the air and smash your fists down on the ground, damaging any enemies that are close enough to be affected by it. The longer you hold down (A), the higher up you’ll go before smashing back down again onto your enemies!
  • Thunder Clap (B) – A movie where Hulk will clap his hands together and create a loud soundwave that temporarily stuns nearby enemies when they’re hit by it! Use this move while fighting other characters so they can’t attack you while they’re stunned!

7. Thor

Thor is the god of thunder and the son of Odin, the king of Asgard. He is one of the avengers video game characters and a royal family member.

Thor can summon lightning and control it in battle. He also has superhuman strength, speed, reflexes, stamina, durability, and agility. 

Thor has a magical hammer called Mjolnir that can fly back to him no matter how far away it goes. 

The hammer was given to him by his father when he was a baby; it cannot be used by anyone else but Thor himself (that would make them too powerful).

8. Black Widow

Black Widow is also one of the most skillful avengers video game characters, and she’s an important one. She’s a playable character, which means you can control her in battle and have her do your bidding.

Black Widow has unique abilities that make her stand out from other characters. For example, she can use her “dark room” ability to hide from enemies by turning invisible for a short time—otherwise known as “stealth mode.” Black Widow has other gadgets like poison darts and shurikens (throwing stars).

In addition to being powerful in combat situations, Black Widow is also skilled with espionage techniques such as hacking computers or disguising herself through makeup and clothing changes. She also speaks multiple languages, including Russian!

9. Doctor Strange

Doctor Strange is a playable character in Marvel Strike Force. He has a powerful magic attack and can heal himself, but his health pool and damage output are both low.

This should be your first choice for dealing with the Hulk and other heavy hitters, as he’s very effective at countering their attacks as one 9f the avengers video game characters.

 If you need to kill someone quickly, though, there are better options than Doctor Strange—but if you’re looking for a character who can last longer than most others during battles against tougher foes, he’s got your back.

10. Spider-Man

Spider-Man is a fictional superhero in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. The character was created by writer-editor Stan Lee and writer-artist Steve Ditko and first appeared in Amazing Fantasy. He becomes a prominent figure in the Marvel Universe and is a key member of the Avengers.

As Spider-Man, he has been featured in video games since 1981. When first introduced to the video game industry, Spider-Man appeared in several beat em’ ups such as 2002’s “Spider-Man” and 2006’s “Ultimate Spider-Man.” In 2011, he got his game with “Spider-Man: Edge of Time.”

In 2018 he had two more games called Insomniac Games’ “Marvel’s Spider-Man” for PlayStation 4 (PS4) and Beenox’ “Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order” for Nintendo Switch. Spider-man has, over the years, established himself as one of the most valued avengers video game characters.

11. Captain America

When talking about the avengers video game characters In the comics, Steve Rogers was selected to be the first test subject for Project Rebirth, which turned him into a super soldier. He is regarded as the first avenger.

This gave him superhuman strength and durability and made him the perfect candidate to join Captain America’s team of Avengers.

In Avengers Academy, his powers are slightly different: he has super strength, speed, agility, and reflexes, but instead of being able to withstand extreme temperatures or weapons like in the comics—he can’t! He also has no enhanced senses like his comic counterpart (like vision or hearing).

12. Black Panther

Black Panther is a fictional superhero in American comic books published by Marvel Comics.

He is the first black superhero in mainstream American comics; some earlier black supporting characters in comics include Waku, Prince of the Bantu—introduced to Marvel’s predecessor timely comics during the 1940s Golden Age of Comic Books—and Steve Rogers, Captain America’s sidekick who later became known as Bucky Barnes.

Black Panther was an important part of at least two classic eras in Marvel history: his initial debut was one of several high-profile appearances that helped establish Lee and Kirby’s take on the company’s new line during their famed run on Fantastic Four; years later he became a stalwart member of “The New Avengers,” starring alongside Spider-Man. 

The Panther frequently appeared across various other titles within both fictional universes until his retirement from active superheroics following Civil War. He is one of the newly recruited avengers video game characters 

13. Star-Lord

Star-Lord is the leader of the Guardians of the Galaxy and a human-alien hybrid. Growing up in Missouri, Quill enjoys listening to classic rock and collecting comics. 

His real name is Peter Jason Quill, but he prefers his nickname “Star-Lord” because it makes him sound like an important superhero, which earned him a spot in the league of avengers video game characters.

In addition to being a skilled pilot and marksman, Star-Lord has superhuman strength, endurance, and reflexes due to his biological heritage as an alien/human hybrid. 

He also has enhanced sensory abilities, including night vision (which allows him to see in pitch black darkness), telescopic vision (which allows him to zoom in on distant objects), and infrared sight (which allows him to see heat signatures).

14. Rocket Raccoon

Rocket Raccoon is a fictional character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. The character debuted in Guardians of the Galaxy 1 and was created by Dan Abnett and Andy Lanning. 

He has been featured in his own solo self-titled series, which lasted for 26 issues until it was relaunched as All-New Rocket Raccoon in November 2014, following the Secret Wars event.

Rocket is a genetically engineered raccoon from the planet Halfworld. He serves as the Guardian of the Keystone Quadrant space sector, together with his partner/best friend Groot; they help rid their quadrant of anyone who wants to harm it or any other worlds within it.

 They often have run-ins with bounty hunters hired by Emperor J’son of Spartax due to Rocket being wanted dead or alive for various crimes committed against his people, such as sabotage against military equipment at spaceports; attacking one starship belonging to them while smuggling contraband material into its hulls, etc.

15. Hank Pym

Hank Pym is a scientist and founding member of the Avengers, so, naturally, he is considered one of the avengers video game characters. He is known as Ant-Man, Giant-Man, Goliath, Yellowjacket, and Wasp.

Hank is a genius who invented special suits that allow him to shrink down to an ant’s size or grow to become as large as an insect.

He uses these powers to fight evil alongside his wife Janet Van Dyne (aka The Wasp), daughter Hope Van Dyne (aka The Wasp), and protégé Scott Lang/Ant-Man II.

Ant-Man’s skills include shrinking and growing into various sizes, manipulating his body density so he can walk on water or fly, and generating force fields around objects or people he wants to be protected.

Create telekinetic energy blasts from his hands (the same energy blast technique used by Iron Man) as well as communicate with animals through telepathy!

16. Winter Soldier

In the game, you’ll be able to play as Bucky Barnes, one of the avengers video game characters, also known as Winter Soldier and a master marksman.

In real life, he was Captain America’s sidekick during World War II before being captured by HYDRA and brainwashed into becoming their assassin.

 During his time as an agent of HYDRA, Bucky killed two Jewish children in Romania while trying to escape from him with their parents, who were trying to protect them from Nazis. 

After being rescued by Tony Stark (Iron Man), Thor, Black Widow, and Hawkeye, Bucky became one of the founding members of Earth-616’s Avengers.

 Iron Man (Tony Stark), Thor Odinson, Hulk Bruce Banner & Hawkeye Clint Barton when they faced Red Skull, who had taken control over Surtur & Loki Laufeyson along with Enchantress Amora over Asgard where they helped defeat Loki Laufeyson & Enchantress Amora.

17. She-Hulk

She-Hulk is also one of the avengers video game characters from the Marvel universe. She was initially Jennifer Walters, a lawyer who becomes She-Hulk when she sees her cousin Bruce Banner get shot.

The Hulk gene was passed down to her, and she has the same green skin and strength as the Hulk but has more control over herself.

 As She-Hulk, she retains her intelligence and personality even while transformed, so you don’t have to worry about getting stuck in an uncontrollable rage like Bruce Banner does when he transforms into the Hulk!

She is also a superhero who fights crime on behalf of her friends at Avengers Mansion. She has been known to fight alongside other heroes such as Spiderman or Iron Man for justice against those who would harm us.

18. Kate Bishop

Kate Bishop is a fictional superhero in comic books published by Marvel Comics. The character, created by Allan Heinberg and Jim Cheung, first appeared in Young Avengers vol. 3 (July 2005).

Kate is the Hawkeye of the Young Avengers, and Clint Barton trained her. She was recruited together with fellow superheroes Iron Lad, Patriot, Hulkling, and Wiccan to form the superhero team known as the Young Avengers during Marvel’s Civil War event. 

Kate later became an independent hero and joined A-Force under her alias Hawkeye while working as a member of the Initiative alongside her boyfriend Clint Barton, who used his identity as Ronin.

After becoming part of S.W.O.R.D., Kate learned that she had been infected with Brood DNA during one of their missions against them which gave her new powers but also didn’t allow her to age or die from natural causes like other beings do after reaching adulthood due to being partially immune from certain conditions such as being poisoned or having organ failure due to age-related illnesses like cancer coming back even if it has been cured from any kind.

19. Vision

Vision is a synthezoid and a member of the Avengers video game characters. He’s also playable in Marvel Powers United VR, Marvel Heroes, Marvel Avengers Academy, and Marvel Avengers Alliance. In each game, he’s voiced by David Sobolov.

Marvel Powers United VR is the first game where you can play as Vision—a playable character in his own right or alongside other heroes like Captain America, Iron Man, and Thor—in this multiplayer brawler set in iconic locations from across the MCU such as Wakanda and Knowhere. 

In addition to being able to use his abilities like flight (or “phasing” through objects) or concussive beams from his eyes at your disposal while playing alone or with friends online, you can also swap out your weapons with any other hero/villain characters’ power sets if desired! 

You’ll also be able to unlock new skills each time you level up by spending Skill Points earned during combat missions against waves of enemies that get progressively harder over time, so even veteran players will have something new waiting for them when they log back; onto their account each day!

20. Scarlet Witch 

Scarlet Witch is one of the MCU’s most powerful female avengers video game characters, and her powers are pretty incredible. Her real name is Wanda Maximoff, and she has many abilities that make her capable of saving the world or causing some serious damage. 

She can fly, create force fields, use telekinesis to move things around with her mind, cast illusions (including making people see different things than they are), and throw things with her mind by thinking about it happening first before it does happen—and much more! 

Scarlet Witch may not be on par with Thor or Hulk when it comes to brute strength, but she can hold her own against just about anyone else thanks to her other abilities like telepathy or probability manipulation (which allows Scarlet Witch to change how likely something is going to happen
