When she discovers one day that all her letters have been sent to her crushes, which include Josh, her next-door neighbor and sister’s ex-boyfriend, her hitherto non-existent love life spirals out of control.

Their efforts are inhibited by their different extra-curricular activities, the jealous Sharpay Evaandl as Troy’s father who wants him to focus only on basketball.

6. Angus, Thongs, and Perfect Snogging (2008)

It gets even more complicated when Duke likes Olivia, who likes Sebastian! The icing on the cake is when Sebastian returns from London ahead of schedule, not knowing his sister has replaced him on campus. A hilarious and genuinely entertaining watch.

The film also introduces Dorrie, a waitress dealing with a secret lover, Kerry, who isn’t out of the closet yet. Popular girl Duke is also presented as one who hasn’t realized her best friend Tobin is into her.

With the different romances going on, you’re bound to find one you like, as the film doesn’t lack adorable moments.

13. The Edge of Seventeen (2016)

However, an unexpected friendship with a thoughtful teen and constructive advice from her teacher Mr. Bruner gives her a glimmer of hope.

Though more profound, The Edge of Seventeen is not without its awkward comedy moments.

While Aster thinks she is talking to Paul and starts developing feelings, Ellie is caught between keeping the truth to herself or coming out and telling both parties how she feels. A sweet, beautifully filmed movie and a must-watch for lovers of teen comedy-drama.

15. Easy A (2010)

Partially inspired by Nathaniel Hawthorne’s 1850 novel The Scarlet Letter, Easy A tells the story of Olive Penderghast, an unpopular student in school whose little white lie escalated beyond what she could have imagined.

When she lies to her famous best friend Rhiannon about losing her virginity, she is overheard by a gossip who then spreads the news throughout the campus.

She embraces her newfound popularity when false rumors begin to apply; however, she never imagined her lies would hurt anyone other than herself.

Emma Stone delivered an epic performance in this film, and her wit and charm make it an exciting watch.
