Herschell Gordon Lewis, sometimes known as the Godfather of Gore, created the first splatter movie in 1963, years before movies like Wrong Turn were released.

Blood Feast is currently regarded as one of the most significant movies in cinema history due to its revolutionary portrayal of gore.

Due to the movie’s cult following, a segment of the public was willing to see it at such violent levels, which marked the beginning of horror in the 1970s and 1980s.

Producer David Friedman said that while it’s not as repulsive as the other entries and possibly unwatchable due to its absurd plot and acting, they never created it to be taken seriously.

However, the blood and torn pieces of flesh would be enough to force a normal person to live off oats for two days.

Dr. Heiter, a surgeon, famed for separating conjoint twins, once had a fantasy of stitching three people together and connecting their mouths to form a human centipede. To achieve his goal, he kidnaps two women and a male tourist.
