Rambo Movies In Order will aid in your comprehension of the movie. Below are the Rambo movies in order.

1. First Blood (1982)

This is one of the best Rambo movies in order. It is one of the most sympathetic movies in the series. People first encounter Rambo as a scruffy drifter on his way to see an old Special Forces friend who has perished as a result of Agent Orange exposure.

They sympathize with Rambo, especially when he walks into Hope, Washington, and runs with Sheriff Teasle (Brian Dennehy).

Teasle believes Rambo is a jerk and sends him packing. Rambo isn’t having it and rushes back in. Teasle arrests him and hands him over to his police for hazing, but this triggers Rambo’s PTSD.

2. Rambo: First Blood Part II (1985)

As First Blood Part II begins, Rambo goes to Vietnam to seek down a group of American POWs detained by the Vietnamese army. Trautman promises him a pardon if he does, and he agrees.

The mission simply involves some simple recon, but Rambo can’t help himself. When he spots one of the POWs chained to the cross like Jesus, he disobeys instructions, and the operation goes to hell in a ham sandwich.

To make matters worse, the government official in charge of the mission, Murdock, halts Rambo’s extraction and admits that he never intended to save the POWs in the first place.

After rescuing the remaining POWs and wrecking the US base in Thailand in retaliation for the government’s abandonment of its soldiers, he receives honors and a pardon this time instead of going to jail.

3. Rambo III (1988)

Rambo’s retirement, however, did not last either. Three years after First Blood Part II events, Trautman tracks Rambo down in Thailand.

He found him stick fighting for money and attempted to enlist him for a mission in Afghanistan. A place where the US intends to aid the Mujahideen in their struggle against the Soviets.

Trautman goes alone when Rambo refuses to go, even after Trautman shows him images of Afghan villagers suffering at the hands of the Soviets.

Rambo rushes to the Afghan desert after hearing the news from Kurtwood Smith, hoping to save his leader and, in the process, aid the Mujahideen in their struggle against the Soviets.

This operation goes pretty well in comparison to Rambo’s other exploits.

4. Rambo (2008)

This movie is also part of Rambo movies in order. Rambo is set against the backdrop of the Saffron Revolution, and it follows John as he pursues side jobs as a snake catcher and a ferryman after being recruited by missionaries.

This is to transport them up the Salween River to provide medical treatment to Karen villages.

The journey does not go well, which is unsurprising. Pirates board Rambo’s boat and threaten him with bodily damage if he doesn’t hand over Sarah (Julie Benz), the missionary group’s only female member.

The mission’s pastor recruits Rambo to escort a mercenary squad through the region before the team’s chief, Lewis, sends him away on another rescue mission.

They’re powerless when they come upon Tint and his men torturing prisoners for joy.

However, it turns out that Rambo was following them. Later, he and the mercenaries find Tint’s camp and liberate the missionaries, only for Tint to recapture everyone the next day except Rambo, Sarah, and the mercenaries’ sniper.

Rambo finishes with John returning to the United States to meet his father in Arizona, rather than in prison or Thailand.

5. Rambo Last Blood (2019)

Sylvester Stallone and Matthew Cirulnick once again co-wrote the screenplay for the franchise’s fifth and final entry.

Rambo: Last Blood is directed by Adrian Grünberg and stars Stallone, Paz Vega, Sergio Peris-Mencheta, Adriana Barraza, and Yvette Monreal.

Rambo currently lives on his late father’s ranch in Arizona with his friend Maria and her granddaughter Gabriela, 11 years after the last movie’s events.

Gabriela learns about her biological father, who is rumored to be in Mexico, and she requests that Rambo join her there.

Rambo, on the other hand, resists and fails to stop her. Gabriela gets abducted by the Mexican cartel after sneaking out of the house and crossing the border.

Rambo, as planned, travels to Mexico to save Gabriela while battling the local cartel. With flashbacks from the previous chapters, this movie finishes up John Rambo’s whole saga.
