He also hangs himself in his prison cell out of humiliation, leaving Assane an orphan.

Furthermore, Lupin is inspired by the book about the gentleman thief Arsène Lupin that his father had given him on his birthday.

However, she soon discovers that her mother is not exactly the perfect housewife she seems to be. Also, Tania’s stepfather, Paul, is a successful actor who is always traveling around the World.  

Furthermore, he often comes home late and doesn’t seem to care much about his daughter. As such, Tania decides to take matters into her own hands and get a job as a model.  

She then meets a mysterious man named David, who becomes her Agent. However, David isn’t a real agent but a con artist who uses Tania to make money from other people.  

Moreover, he eventually forces Tania to sign a contract that makes it impossible for her to leave him. The top cast include, Édouard Baer, Maud Forget, and Emmanuelle Devos. 

3. Osmosis (2019-)

Osmosis is a French comedy-drama television series created by Joann Sfar. Furthermore, Osmosis is based on the events surrounding the death of a young girl named Sarah. 

Sarah was an aspiring actress who was killed while filming a movie called “Osmosis.” Her murder remains unsolved until a year later when another girl named Geneviève commits suicide under similar circumstances.

La Forest des Masques is a French crime drama web television series by Gaël Morel.  It is about a group of criminals led by a charismatic leader named Michel, who has been robbing banks since childhood.

Spotless is a French show on Netflix directed by François Ozon. It stars Mathilda May as a woman trying to uncover the truth behind her husband’s disappearance. 

The film premiered at the 2017 Cannes Film Festival, where it won the Grand Prix. The top cast include, Mathilda May, Laurent Lucas, and Valeria Bruni Tedeschi. 

6. Le Dernier Combat (2016-)

Le Dernier Combat is the best french show on Netflix. It is a 2016 French action film written and directed by Yvan Attal. 

Additionally, the film follows two assassins, one played by Matthias Schoenaerts and the other by Samuel Le Bihan, who is sent to kill a politician. 

Furthermore, they must work together to complete their mission. However, the film premiered in competition at the 2016 Cannes Film Festival. The entire Cast includes Matthias Schoenaetrs and Samuel Le Bihan. 

7. The Returned (2015-)

Les Revenants is a 2015 French horror film directed by Jacques Audiard. Furthermore, the film tells the story of three men tasked with investigating several women’s disappearances from a small town. 

Each of them has lost someone close to them in the past. Additionally, the film premiered in competition at the 2014 Cannes Film Festival. The Top Cast Include, Marion Cotillard, Benoît Magimel, and Adrien Brody. 

8. Les Misérables (2012-2014)

10. The Hook Up Plan (2018-)

Additionally, the plot revolves around a middle-aged couple who decide to spice up their sex life. It stars Nathalie Baye, Vincent Macaigne, and Louis Garrel. However, this leads to unexpected consequences. 

11. Vampires (2017-)

Vampires is a French vampire film directed by Xavier Gens. Furthermore, the plot follows a group of vampires who live among humans.  

Furthermore, it also talks about how they try to hide from the human population. Doina Radescu’s tale of battling her vampire tendencies is a compelling narrative of a half-human, half-vampire girl from Paris.  

Moreover, she resides with her mother, who has three other children. This show stands out because it treats vampirism as a genetic mutation rather than a supernatural condition.

17. A Very Secret Services (2015-)
