Coming to the present, Sophia and Luke’s relationship ends due to their conflicting worlds and jobs.

Years later, they reunite and rekindle their love just as Allison is about to get married to someone else, but she chooses to stay with Noah because of their passion, and her mother hesitantly supports her. 

Meanwhile, back in the present-day nursing home, it is revealed that Duke is Noah and is reading the story to Allison, and their love story ends beautifully.

9. Safe Haven (2013)

Meanwhile, Katie’s husband, Kevin, who was presumed dead, is suspended from work, and he finds Katie with Alex and threatens her to return with him, resulting in a scuffle that ends up killing Kevin and burning down Alex’s store.

Jo, their neighbor, informs them that she will leave the city and wishes them well. However, Katie discovers that her neighbor is the spirit of Alex’s late wife, Carly. This is a lovely story and one of the Nicholas Sparks movies on Netflix with a happy ending.
