1.  Final Destination (2000)

Starting off our list of Final destination movies in order, we have “Final Destination” released in 2000. It stars Devon Sawa, Ali ver, Kerr Smith, and Tony Todd. It tells the story of Alex Browning (Devon Sawa) and his classmates.

Alex gets a warning that their plane will crash soon after boarding the aircraft slated to take them to Paris for a French school trip.

After ordering everyone out, the plane blows up in their presence. However, the survivors soon discover that they cannot escape death when they start dying off under strange circumstances.

2.  Final Destination 2

In 2003 the second installment of the Final destination movies in order was released, and it picks up where the first leaves off.

After surviving a plane crash that killed everyone else on board, Nick O’Bannon (Cook) begins having premonitions of death and realizes that He got a “second chance” to change His fate when Death appears to him one night.

He must find a way to stop Death from taking his friends’ lives before they perish in various horrific accidents.

The first movie was great, but this one is better! It has some suspenseful moments that make you feel like something will happen, but it doesn’t happen until it does!.

3.  Final Destination 3

  • Cast: Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Ryan Merriman, Kris Lemche, Alexz Johnson, Sam Easton, Jesse Moss, Gina Holden, Texas Battlez Chelan Simmons, Crystal Lowe, Amanda Crew, and Maggie Ma.

It is a horror movie directed by James Wong and the third installment on our list of final destination movies in order. Final Destination 3 is a standalone film, unlike the first and second films that use continuity in the storyline.

Wendy Christensen (Mary Winstead) goes to an amusement park accompanied by Her boyfriend and a couple of friends to celebrate their graduation.

Soon after they board the rollercoaster, She has a premonition that it will crash and kill the riders due to a malfunction.

However, she convinced some people to come off, while others rode to their death, including her boyfriend Jason Wise and Her best friend Carrie Dreyer.

Wendy has to figure out how to save the remaining survivors after discovering that this event has occurred before and all the survivors still die.

4.  The Final Destination

The Final Destination is a 3D horror film released in 2009 and the fourth on our list of final destination movies in order.

Nick O’Bannon has a premonition of a car crash that kills people in the audience at a car racing game; in alarm, He tries to save some people from dying.

Subsequently, Nick discovers that the survivors are dying off in some freak accidents and that death has even more plans for Him.

5.  Final Destination 5

  • Cast: Nicholas D’Agosto, Emma Bell, Miles Fisher, Arlen Escarpeta, David Koechner, Tony Todd, Jacqueline Wood, P. J. Byrne, Courtney B. Vance, and Brent Stait.

Final Destination 5 is a 3D horror film written by Eric Heisserer and directed by Steven Quale. It is the fifth and last installment on the list of final destination movies in order.

A young man Sam Lawton (D’Agosto), has a premonition that on His way to a work retreat with His colleagues, the suspension bridge they have to cross will collapse, killing everyone except His girlfriend Molly ( Emma Bell).

Although He ended up preventing their death by convincing His colleagues to leave just before the bridge collapses, He discovers that death has no plans of letting them go when they begin to die one after the other.

It is worth noting that Final Destination movies in order create an excellent continuity with the order of the death scenes in each film.

There is one exception: Final Destination 5, which did not follow the protagonist’s vision of the future deaths and revolved around a bomb instead. 

The reason mentioned above might be why it was rated the worst film in the series by fans and critics alike. Regardless, many people cannot get enough of these films, wildly, since they constantly leave you guessing what will happen next!
