The Jurassic Park franchise is an American sci-fi movie series created l by Michael Crichton. The movie focuses on a theme park of genetically engineered dinosaurs and their clones. The movies were released from 1993 to 2022.

As a fan of the franchise, I have decided to make this list of the Jurassic Park movies in order of their year of release. Before then, let’s find out how many movies are in the franchise.

Jurassic Park Movies in Order

1. Jurassic Park (1993)

The couple made several vows to finance Grant’s exploration if he provided them with an elevated visit through Isla Sorna, a similar island utilized in The Lost World.

However, the film was an industry achievement and grossed the least in the series. This is the 3rd of the Jurassic Park movies in order.

4. Jurassic World (2015)

Jurassic World should have begun production in 2004. However, postponements stopped the film from being developed for ten years.

Being directed by Colin Trevorrow, Jurassic World is the fourth film in the Jurassic Park franchise and the first movie in the Jurassic World trilogy.

The movie depicts Simon Masrani (Irrfan Khan), CEO of the Masrani Global Corporation, who purchased InGen in 1997 to make his amusement park, Jurassic World, a better version of Hammond’s Jurassic Park. 

Like the first film, a typical day with siblings Zach and Gray visiting the amusement park, where their auntie, Claire Dearing (played by Bryce Dallas Howard), is in control, suddenly goes haywire when the recreation area’s most current fascination, a dinosaur hybrid result of genetic engineering known as Indominus Rex, frees itself from the designated enclosure and unleashes devastation.

As the recreation area is self-destructing, Claire is compelled to go to the recreation area’s Velociraptor expert Owen Grady (played by Chris Pratt), to assist with saving her nephews.

The film was exceptionally fruitful in the cinematic world, acquiring $1.6 billion worldwide, and was the third highest-grossing film of the era. This is the 4th of the Jurassic Park movies in order.

5. Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom (2018)

Yet, reports of a volcanic eruption compromise the presence of these brilliant animals and take people back to the island.

As the animal activists like Owen and Claire attempt to safeguard the animals, they could, however, be paving the way for the schemes of those with evil intentions in maintaining that the dinosaurs should survive. This is the fifth of the Jurassic Park movies in order.

6. Battle At Big Rock (2019)

The film centers around a little family set up camp at an imaginary National Park known as Big Rock, which is roughly 32 km away from the site where dinosaurs from the Fallen Kingdom were set free. 

They’re astonished by a grown-up kid, Nasutoceratops. The remarkable gathering between the family and the dinosaurs is ruined by an Allosaurus who needs to have the child for lunch.

Unexpectedly, the family is stuck inside their camper as the dinosaurs fight around them. This is the sixth of the Jurassic Park movies in order.

7. Jurassic World Dominion (2022)

The next movie in the series, and the last in the Jurassic World trilogy, depicts Colin Trevorrow returning as the writer and director, alongside a large group of old top choices from past movies.

Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard return as their characters from the past Jurassic World movies, and Sam Neill, Jeff Goldblum, and Laura Dern return as their characters from the first Jurassic Park film. 

There is no other amusement park, as dinosaurs are currently off the island and out in the more extensive world, as shown by the Battle at Big Rock short film. This is the seventh and last of the Jurassic Park movies in order.
