To defeat the terrifying dragon Smaug, Bilbo Baggins must embark on a journey to find the vanished Dwarf Kingdom of Erebor.

With the Wizard, Gandalf the Grey, Bilbo joins a group of thirteen dwarves under the command of the great warrior Thorin Oakenshield. 

They travel through dangerous terrain filled with hazardous Wargs and Giant Spiders, Goblins and Orcs, Shapeshifters, and Sorcerers as they make their way through the Wild.

During the journey, The unassuming Bilbo Baggins discovers levels of cunning and bravery that surprise even him when he meets with Gollum on the shores of an underground lake, and he also comes into possession of the mysterious “precious” ring that Gollum wears, which has unexpected and valuable properties.

This is the 2nd sequel to the hobbit movie in order of their release date, and it has received awards such as the MTV Movie & TV Award for Best Fight, Orlando Bloom, and Evangeline Lilly Empire Award for Best Male Newcomer, and Empire Awards for Best Sci-Fi/Fantasy.

Despite Smaug’s flaming rage and the Hobbit Bilbo’s valiant efforts to persuade Thorin to see sense, Thorin Oakenshield (Richard Armitage), after recapturing Erebor and a tremendous amount of riches from the dragon, sacrifices friendship and honor to obtain the Arkenstone.

Gandalf is released from the Necromancer’s prison, and those who saved him are aware of who the Necromancer is. In the meantime, Sauron sends armies of Orcs to attack the Lonely Mountain covertly. 

The races of Men, Elves, and Dwarves must choose whether to band together and succeed — or perish together — as the future of Middle Earth hangs in the balance.
