Van Helsing games involve a third-person shooter for the Play Station 2 and Xbox, which is based on the 2004 action/horror film of the same name by Stephen Sommers.
Starting with the assassination of Mr. Hyde in Paris, the character of Van Helsing must be used to track down Dracula in Transylvania. The essence of Carl is absent from the video game.
Still, the characters of Anna Valerious, Velkan Valerious, Igor, Dracula, and his three brides are depicted as they appear in the film.
Below is a description of some of the Van Helsing games;
1. Van Helsing (2004)
Platform: PlayStation 4, Microsoft Windows, macOS, Classic Mac OS, Xbox 360, Xbox One
This Van Helsing game is reminiscent of Capcom’s Devil May Cry series. Van Helsing is armed with two firearms and his Tojo blades at the start of the game.
He then gets various weapons, including the shotgun and the bow rifle, which are seen in the film. Van Helsing can dispatch foes with both his weapons and his knives.
Once the ammo is discovered, the player can utilize upgraded ammunition using Helsing’s weapons. As he unloads his upgraded ammo, hitting the L1/LT trigger gives Van Helsing a blue-ish light.
Except for the elephant gun, each weapon has its own ammunition upgrades, akin to Capcom’s Devil May Cry series.
The amount of enhanced ammo that can be utilized is shown by an ammo bar. Regular ammo is infinite, and using standard ammo extends the length of enhanced ammo. Up to three life replenishers, three ammo replenishers, and three-speed boosts are available to Van Helsing.
