7. The Raid: Redemption (2011)

The Raid was the first movie to include such expertly filmed action sequences, as opposed to the shaky cam-style rapid cuts that were notorious with the genre in the 2000s. It also came out three years before John Wick. 

The Bourne movies and Taken were the most fearsome action movies with this kind of action.

However, The Raid set the path for a new breed of action movies, creating dance-like action sequences with perfect timing and rhythm. 

The movie is strikingly evocative of early movies on martial arts starring Bruce Lee and Jackie Chan.

Some of the best action sequences in movie history were produced as a consequence of it and excellent camera work.

8. Edge of Tomorrow (2014)

9. Oldboy (2013)

Ray Stevenson plays the Punisher in The Punisher: War Zone, a remake of the 2004 movie. Ray Stevenson does an outstanding job in part and inhabits the position, giving the impression that he is experiencing it.

The music is excellent, and the movie is violent and somewhat unique to the comic.

16. Safe (2012)

If you also enjoy Jason Statham, it will be even better since his character is an absolute badass and a force to be reckoned with. Overall, this is a fantastic movie that is interesting, even if it doesn’t provide anything new.

The character of Blade, played by Wesley Snipes, was written wonderfully, making him the ideal antihero, and the movie was fantastic to see.

He finds himself in a situation where he must save the girl. He attempted a calm solution, but ultimately a fight resulted. The circumstance stirred his conscience, and he returned to his former self.

McCall takes on the role of a voiceless person’s guardian angel. He began using his cunning abilities to rid society of all danger-makers by murdering them all.
