Despite having all the necessary components for a typical vampire movie, it avoids using the attempted routes in favor of developing its original plot. People of all ages like the modernist aesthetic of this movie. 

Thanks to Kathryn Bigelow’s outstanding direction, Near Dark is still recognized as one of the best vampire movies ever.
