Cars 2 used to feature connectivity with the world of vehicles online, a free-to-play browser-based, a virtual world based on the hit Pixar animated Cars universe.

This article focuses on Cars 2 video game characters entirely; on the play station 3 and Xbox 360, there are several characters that you can download and play in the game. Some of those characters, however, are from car movies and cars toons.

It is based on Pixar’s computer-animated film Cars 2; that video game follows the exploits of car characters, Lightning McQueen and Mater, As they train in a secret facility known as CHROME, short for Command Headquarters for Recon Operations and Motorized Espionage.

Up to 4 players can race in the game, and players can choose from more than 20 characters and train to become world spies. As part of their international training, players can participate in simulated hazardous missions using high-tech gadgets.

Lightning McQueen

 He is one of the Cars 2 Video Game Characters. Also known as Radiator Lightning or Carbon Fiber Lightning, this character is a male race car from Swampscott, Maryland.

His alias is Chester Whipplefilter. He is a 2006 Piston Cup Model 95 S race car equipped with a NASCAR V8 engine. He is a Piston Cup race car that has won 7 Piston Cups since his debut in the 2006 season.

Lightning McQueen resides in the small town of Radiator Springs in Carburetor County, where he has his racing headquarters and his own stadium.

 In the cars video game series, McQueen finds himself at the start of the next Piston Cup season. With the help of the citizens of Radiator Springs, McQueen readies to start his quest for the Piston Cup, taking lessons in power sliding from Doc, boosting from Fillmore, and racing backward from Mater.

Though Rust-eze still sponsors Lightning McQueen, players can unlock McQueen with a Dinoco paint job while playing as him in Story Mode, Arcade Mode.

 Lightning McQueen’s appearance bears minimal resemblance to modern NASCAR sedans, and he instead resembles a C6 Corvette but uses NASCAR technology. Montgomery’s two-tone design is an homage to the C1 Corvette, complete with whitewall tires.

His Surname could be a reference to Hollywood Actor Steve McQueen especially since he loved fast cars and drove one in his films, Le Mans, Bullit, and others.

Mater

Also known as Materhosen, it is popular among cars 2 video game characters. The Video Game character is also a male 1951 International Harvester L-170 “boom” truck with elements of a mid-1950s Chevrolet with a full-on V8 engine. His plate number is A113.

He can accelerate from Zero to 60 mph in 10 seconds and has a V-8 engine with a two-barrel carburetor. He also has a top speed of 90mph and a horsepower of 200.

 Tommy Joe, Cletus, Buford, Judd, Zeke, and Lewis are his relatives. In the video game, he first appears as the announcer in the cut-scene for Radiator Springs Grand Prix, and he also appears in the cut-scene for Tractor Tippin’. He has deployable machine guns, paraglider, holographic disguise emitter, and twin rockets. 

Finn McMissile

 Also known as Finn-Union Jack, he is from Rotherhithe, United Kingdom but lives in London, United Kingdom. He is based on an Aston Martin DB5 and other 1960’s English sports cars and has a license plate number of 0S0 872L.

He is a British spy, has a top speed of 147 mph, and can accelerate from 0-60mph in 7 seconds. He has a 4.2 Liter Straight 6 with a Triple 2V Carbs engine and a horsepower of 290. Michael Caine voices him.

 Although Finn is charming and eloquent, his stealth maneuvering, intelligence, and years in the field enable him to thwart unexpected attacks from bad guys, making quick daredevil escapes.

 Finn’s design is sleek and timeless, but he is also prepared for any tricky situation with an arsenal of ultra-cool gadgets and weaponry, including Four grappling hooks, Spy camera, Missile launcher, Digital readouts, glass cutter, Magnetic explosives launcher, Deployable machine guns and surveillance ropes, Oil blaster, Mounted quad harpoon gun, Deployable holographic disguise emitter, Wheeled motorized jack, Steel magnets on wheels, Hydrofoil mode, Submarine mode. Holley Shiftwell

Also known as Racer Holley, this is one of the most regarded female Cars 2 Video game characters; she comes from and lives in London, United Kingdom.

She is a Jaguar XJR-15 with a license plate number of HS1201. She has a top speed of 160 mph and can accelerate from 0-60 mph in 5.5 seconds. She also has a 3.5-Liter Turbocharged V8 engine and a horsepower of 275.

Holley’s name refers to Holley Performance Products, Inc., a manufacturer of high-performance carburetors and fuel systems located in Bowling Green, KY.

Her license plate is HS1201, which includes her initials. The number 1201 is Emily Mortimer’s birthday (December 1)

As a spy, she is equipped with an onboard computer that she uses to analyze spy data( the computer projects a hologram heads-up display as a screen and features dual trackball platforms as a mouse.), projection headlamps that emit the hologram heads-up display (located above her headlights), invisible headlight cameras that transmit information to the onboard computer, and digital readouts that transmit info from other spies or a map of the environment.

Francesco Bernoulli

 Also known as Midnight Francesco, he is one of the frequently used male Cars 2 Video Game characters; he is a Ferrari 150° Italia race car.

His engine is a Ferrari Type 056 2,398 cc (146 cu in) V8 (90°), naturally aspirated, 18,000 RPM limited with KERS, and a mid-mounted engine. He is a Formula One Racer.

 He is from Porto Corsa, Italy, and has a top speed of 220 mph. He can accelerate from Zero – 60 mph: in 2.5 seconds and has a 2.4-liter engine and a horsepower of 750.

He has plenty of allies and is voiced by John Turturro. Francesco’s last name, Bernoulli, refers to Daniel Bernoulli, a Dutch/Swiss mathematician who published ground-breaking fluid dynamics and energy conservation theories.

Francesco’s design seems like a typical modern Formula One design.

Raoul ÇaRoule

One of the male Cars 2 video game characters is an all-wheel drive Citroën C4 WRC race car from Alsace, France. He has a top speed of 124.3 mph and can accelerate from Zero – 60 mph in 3.5 seconds. His engine is a 1.6-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder with a horsepower of 300.

A restless soul, Raoul joined the famous ‘Cirque du Voiture’ French circus, where he learned Gymkhana’s graceful drift-filled motorsport that taught him to pinpoint timing and an unparalleled ability to navigate tricky courses with ease.

 He’s the first car ever to win nine consecutive rallies. Raoul is confident he can use his rally experience to pull ahead of his fellow World Grand Prix racers during the three courses’ touchy dirt sections, especially with his fans in the stands waving banners that read: “ÇaRoule Ca-Rules!”.

Raoul ÇaRoule is a reference to French rally driver nine times WRC winner Sebastien Loeb, with whom he shares a similar backstory and the same car.

 On Raoul’s side and the hood is written G.R.C., an allusion to the WRC, the World Rally Championship. On his tires is written “Rouler Vite,” which means “Roll Fast” in French, or more in context, “Drive Fast.” He is based on Loeb’s Citroën Hymotion4 WRC. 

Carla Veloso

 One of the most beautiful Cars 2 video game characters is a Le Mans racecar from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, with a top speed of 206mph.

She has a 5.5-liter twin-turbo diesel V-12 engine and a horsepower of 725. Jonnosa Jinario voices him, and all W.G.P. Racers are allies. World Grand Prix contender Carla Veloso hails from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. 

The sweet but powerful Latin diva can dance the night away at the “Carnivals” but spends most of her time on the racetrack.

In the World Grand Prix, the proud Brazilian Le Motor Prototype racer is the only female in the field, and Carla is ready to prove to the world that #8 is there to win for her home country. She is modeled after a Peugeot Type-908 FA Le Mans Prototype.

Jeff Gorvette

 Is one of Cars 2 Video Game characters and is a male car from Vallejo, California. He is a Corvette C6R fitted with a 7.0L LS7.R V8 engine.

His top speed is 200mph. His relatives are Ingrid Gorvette (wife) and Leo Gorvette (son). Jeff Gordon voices him. He is faster than Lightning McQueen and Miguel Camino than Lewis Hamilton.

Jeff Gorvette’s best friends are Lightning McQueen and Lewis Hamilton. Jeff Gorvette is a reference to the real NASCAR driver, Jeff Gordon. The two also share the same race car number.

Nigel Gearsley

 He is a male Aston Martin DBR9 race car from Warwickshire, England. He has an Aston Martin 6,000 cc( 6.0L; 366.1 cu in), all-aluminum, DOHC, 48 valve V12 naturally aspirated, 625 bhp (466kW; 634 PS), 746 N.m (550 Lb.ft), front-engined, longitudinally mounted engine. Among the male Cars 2 Video Game characters, he has a top speed of 180mph. Greg Ellis voices him. 

He has a painting of the British Flag on his body. He started racing the Speed Hill Climb – a unique, completely uphill race through the Aston Hill Mountain Area that his family has run for generations.

His British heritage makes him an imposing presence on the World Grand Prix courses of the Cars 2 video game.

Shu Todoroki

He is a male Dome S102 and one of the Cars 2 Video Game characters from Mount Asama, Japan. He has a top speed of 203 mph, a horsepower of 700, and can accelerate from zero-60 mph in 3 seconds. He has a 6.0-liter, naturally aspirated V-12 engine. Erik Passoja and Dan Castellaneta voice him. 

Shu Todoroki is a Le Motor Prototype racer representing Japan and bearing #7 (as you can see on his hood) in the World Grand Prix.

Shu was raised at the base of the active Mount Asama volcano in Japan and soon became a champion on the Suzuka Circuit.

Miguel Carmino

 He is one of the popular male Cars 2 Video Game characters from Pamplona, Spain. He can be a Lotus Elise GT1, Nissan GT-R, and Ferrari 599.

He has a top speed of 200 mph, can accelerate from zero-60 mph in 3.6 seconds, and has a horsepower of 570. He has a DOHC V-8 and a DOHC V-6 engine. 

Spain’s most renowned, admired, and the captivating car is Pamplona’s Miguel Camino. He first caught his home country’s attention by participating in the infamous Running of the Bulldozers.

Bearing the #5 and the fiery colors of the Spanish Flag, Miguel Camino hopes to race his way into more hearts at the World Grand Prix.

Max Schnell

 One of the Cars 2 Video Game characters is a male Mercedes-Benz AMG W204 C-Class D.T.M. Racer with a Mercedes-Benz 4,000 cc (244 cu in) V-8 90-degree naturally aspirated front engine (i.e., 4.0-liter V-8 or 3.0- liter V-6 engines). He has a top speed of 160 mph, can accelerate from zero-60 mph in 3.8 seconds, and has a horsepower of 470. All W.G.P. Racers are his allies. James Rankin voices him. 

Schnell is a German word meaning “Fast.” Max Schnell’s name could also be translated as “Maximum Speed.” Max Schnell has on his hood the inscription “W.T.C.L.,” which represents the name of his racing league, the World Torque Champion League.

It is an allusion to the W.T.C.C., the World Touring Car Championship. However, Max’s design alludes to the D.T.M. (Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters), another type of touring car racing.

Fillmore

 Also known as Brand New Fillmore, this Cars 2 Video Game character is a Volkswagen Type 2 Bus license plate number 51237. George Carlin and Lloyd Sherr voice him.

Fillmore is Radiator Springs’ resident hippie. A believer in individuality and all things natural, he brews his organic fuel and preaches its many benefits.

Visitors can try Fillmore’s unique flavors in the tasting room behind his love-bead and tie-dye-covered geodesic dome. 

As revealed in the video games, Fillmore is both a pacifist and a Pisces. Despite being a pacifist, he can be seen with weapons in Cars 2: The Video Game. Fillmore’s license plate is 51237, which reads George Carlin’s birthday (May 12, 1937).

Fillmore is a Volkswagen Type 2 bus. This type of car often called a “Hippie Bus,” was a popular mode of transportation among hippies.

Fillmore has a license plate on his front and back. Fillmore has a broken rearview mirror on his right side and a bent mirror on his left. 

Sarge

Also known as Camo-Sarge, it is among the male Cars 2 Video Game characters and is a Willys MB Jeep with the license plate number 41WW2, a reference to World War II and the year the U.S. got in the war, 1941. Paul Dooley voices him. Sarge is an army truck that is close friends with Fillmore.

He is a World War II model Jeep Willys. He has earnt a lot of experience on the battlefield. He’s playing a father figure for all the cars in Radiator Springs.

Luigi

Also known as Team Lightning Luigi, this male Cars 2 Video Game character is a 1959 Fiat 500 license plate number 44.5 10.8. Tony Shalhoub voices him.

Luigi runs the local tire shop in Radiator Springs, Luigi’s Casa Della Tires, with his husband, Guido. Luigi offers the finest selection of tires west of the Mississippi. 

Luigi’s Casa Della Tires is known far and wide for its impeccable service, competitive prices, and stylish proprietor.

Luigi is a massive fan of Ferrari Racing and is so happy when Ferrari Racer Michael Schumacher shows up at his shop wanting tires in the end. He is a stereotypical Italian ex-mobster who is now trying to live a life of peace.

Guido

Also known as Team Lightning Guido, is one of the male Cars 2 video game characters and is a custom racing forklift that resembles an Isetta at the front. He is voiced by Guido Quaroni. Guido is a racing forklift who helps Luigi at Luigi’s Casa Della Tires. He has always wanted to be a real race car. 

Professor Zundapp

 Also known as Professor Z, he is a 1957 Zundapp Janus from Baden-Baden, Germany. He has a 14 hp, 248 cc, single cylinder, 2-stroke engine. His license plate number is BAD GA 58.

This is among the male Cars Video Game characters and is voiced by Thomas Kretschmann. Professor Zündapp is an internationally-wanted weapons designer in a small, sophisticated German package. 

He is a brilliant but mad monocle-wearing scientist plotting to sabotage the World Grand Prix. In the first Cars level of the game, Professor Z appears on pictures that the player has to hit to get extra points when a new goal is unlocked.

In the second level, he is heard talking as he tries to stop the player and Holley Shiftwell from deactivating the bomb on Francesco Bernoulli. 

He makes a physical appearance in the third level. In the ending cut-scene, Professor Z shoots a missile at the player in midair. Still, the player dodges the rocket and pushes Professor Z out of the helicopter before the projectile hits the aircraft. 

Grimm

This male Cars 2 Video Game character is a 1974 A.M.C. Gremlin with the license plate number W.R.E.K.D. He has a top speed of 91 mph, can accelerate from 0-60 mph in 17 seconds, and has a horsepower of 90.

He is fitted with a 232 c. I straight 6 with a one-barrel carburetor engine. Joe Mantegna voices him. On Gray’s tires, it says “Rolling Stop.”

Acer

 Also known as Gunner Acer, he is one of the male Cars 2 Video Game characters and is a 1975 A.M.C. Pacer with the license plate number F.S.H.B.W.L.

He has a top speed of 99 mph and can accelerate from zero- 60 mph in 16 seconds. He has a 232 c. I straight 6 with a two-barrel carburetor and a horsepower of 120. His license plate is F.I.S.H.B.O.W.L., a reference to “fish bowl,” the nickname that was given to A.M.C. Pacer.

Timber

He is a Reliant Regal from France with the plate number 3PNY BIT. This male Cars 2 Video Game character is voiced by Michel Michelis.

Timber is a dubious little French car with an unusual, volatile, three-wheeled design that befits the meaning of his name – to fall. By trade, he deals car parts from a stall in a Parisian market.

Miles Axlerod

 He is a modified 1977 Range Rover from Aden, Yemen, with a Rover V8 engine and the license plate number ALT NRG. Eddie Izzard voices him.

Miles’ design resembles a highly modified version of a Range Rover L322. The license plate of this male Cars 2 Video Game character is ALT NRG, an abbreviation of “alternative energy.”

Becky Wheelin

She Is a playable character, unlocked at clearance level 5 along with Cartney Braking and Miles Axlerod. Becky is known for traveling to places.

She also knows everything about C.H.R.O.M.E. and can participate in a competition. She is one of the few female cars who don’t have a thick line on their eyelids. In the Cars 2 Video Game, She Has The Same Voice As Carla Veloso.

Chuki

 She is a Hatchback Kei car with the license plate number T610635. This female car 2 Video Game character is not very popular among the cars as she has few enemies and friends.

Cartney Brakin

 He is a male car with license plate number 06-23. Cartney Brakin is a child who is a fan of Lightning McQueen. He Is unlocked at clearance level 5 along with Becky Wheelin and Miles Axlerod. This male Cars 2 Game character was supposed to be a lightweight class, but he ended up as a heavyweight class due to his tall roof.

Daisy Tsashimi

 He is a sushi chef based in Tokyo, Japan. Daisy Tsashimi is a minor character in cars 2 video game.

Rod “Torque” Redline

This downloadable male Cars 2 Video Game character is a hybrid of a Ford Mustang with a Dodge Challenger Bruce Campbell voice. He is a cool car with a top speed of 145mph and can accelerate from zero-60 mph in 4.4 seconds. He has a 5.5-liter V-8 engine and a horsepower of 550.

The Queen

 She is a Rolls-Royce Phantom IV with the license plate number D.E.I.I. 1952. Her grandson is Prince Wheeliam, and her enemy is Miles Axelrod. These female downloadable Cars 2 Vanessa Redgrave voices the Video Game character. 

In the Cars 2 Video Game, she appears in the London race on her throne, watching the race. While racing, the player can break through the gate and drive past her.

She can also be unlocked by downloading her for the PS3 and Xbox 360. The Queen can only race and cannot battle.

Flo

 She is a 1957 Motorama show car with the license plate number SHO GRL. Her husband is Ramone, and she is the owner of Flo’s V-8 cafe.

This female downloadable cars 2 video Game character first appears in the first video game in the cut-scene for Sally’s Sunshine Circuit, where she decides to join the race with Sally, Mia, and Tia. Then she appears in the race. Usually, she is ranked last.

Sheriff

He is a 1949 Mercury Cruiser with the license plate number SHERIFF. This male downloadable Cars 2 Video Game character is Michael Wallis’s voice in the Cars series.

He is a police car staying in Radiator Springs. He first appears in Sheriff’s Chase, where he and Lightning talk about how Lightning wrecked Radiator Springs in the movie.

Then Sheriff thinks Lightning is asking for a rematch, and he accepts it because Doc outfitted him with a turbocharger. 

Ramone

Chick Hicks

 He is a 1979 Shyster Kremlin, designed after a 1987 Buick Grand National with many enemies and allies. Chick Hicks is a former Piston Cup racer and sports commentator.

This male Cars 2 Video Game character is a dirty racer that commonly cheats by wrecking the other racers.

Wingo

He is a Reko-Do/Spinner who roams the Interstate at night, terrifying vehicles and trucks, displays enough lights to illuminate a small town, and believes his beat can’t be beaten.

Uncle Topolino

He is a 1937 Fiat 500 with the license plate number FI-18 31A6. Luigi, Guido, and Mama Topolino are his relatives, and he is voiced by Franco Nero.

This male Cars 2 Video Game character is the owner of the village’s tire shop, where he teaches Luigi and Guido everything they know, though Uncle Topolino is full of sage advice about more than just tires.

Ivan

He is a male Chevrolet 4100 Tow Truck with the license plate number PN 217-63. This male Cars 2  Video Game character is voiced by Stanley Townsend.

Victor Hugo

Resty

Trunks

Topper Deckington III

 This Cars 2 Video Game character is an RM-class A.E.C. Routemaster. He is a double-decker bus, and other double-decker buses like him appear in the game.

They appear in the tracks in London, going around a loop when drifting in the ways. If you hit one, they will make you spin and slow down. Also, Topper appears on a loading screen on occasions.

Frank

He is a Combine Harvester voiced by Frank Welker. His model is a Case IH Axial-Flow 7010 Combine. This Cars 2 Video Game N.P.C. appears in Tractor Tippin’, where he’s one of the obstacles you must avoid.

If you get caught in his headlights or bump him, you automatically get caught. You also get caught if you stay in the spotlight or move close to Frank for too long.

Tony Trihull

 He is a U.S.S. Independence (LCS-2) warship. Lloyd Sherr voices him. This Cars 2 Video Game character appears in the intro scene riding around the oil rig.

Then, he appears in one of the Oil Rig tracks, where if you get caught in a spotlight, he would say, “You don’t belong here.” Then a weapon will be aimed at you, and the gun will blow you up. Scary, right? Avoid him.
