All of my heart

  • Director: Peter Deluise
  • Star cast: Brennan Elliot and Lacey Chabert
  • IMDB Rating: 7

If you’ve watched hallmark movies, then you will know that 2015 hallmark movies follow the same formula that has made hallmark so popular. They never seem to run out of romantic stories to tell, and here is another one.

Two people from different backgrounds inherit the same house in an undeveloped area. Jenny, an inspiring chef, plans on starting bed and breakfast in the house.

On the other end, Brian has a different idea for the property, and he intends to sell it.

Jenny refuses to give out and offers to buy Brian out when her business yields a profit. Unfortunately, Brian gets fired from his job and, with now where to go, ends up in the same house with Jenny.

Jenny and Brian divide the house and agree to cohabitate. You cannot help but admire their on-screen chemistry. This film brings a charming and happy vibe to the viewers.

However, as a piece of friendly advice, don’t watch it expecting too much.

Just the way you are

  • Director: K. T. Donaldson
  • Star cast: Ty Olsson and Candace Cameron Bure
  • IMDB Rating: 6

Careful what you wish for. Can you trust your heart not to fall in love? Just the way you are will not strike you with much difference from other 2015 hallmark movies. It is another film adaptation of a bestselling book.

Drake bets his friend that he can make a nerdy transfer student, Sophie, fall in love with him in a month. An unsuspecting Sophia finally falls for him, and he is left with the dilemma of telling her it was just a bet.

Wait a minute. If Drake felt nothing, this won’t be a problem for him. Wow, the heart can’t stay far away when love is in the air, I guess. This film radiates so much charm to keep the love-struck audience on it.

The film sticks to a relatable and likable theme throughout, and it manages to keep viewers entertained despite the predictable plot and twists. In the end, it is an excellent movie to watch if you are a fan of the genre.

Well, April hasn’t visited the town since her breakup with Luke. After much thought, she decides to head back to her hometown. There is no way old memories will not spring up. Old love memories never die, they say.

April soon finds herself between her new boring life and the life she left behind after her breakup. Portrait of love trades on familiar territory and does not stray away from the relatable storyline.

Nevertheless, it was released as one of the 2015 hallmark movies. It is not entirely predictable, but most of the plot is well known. Strap in if you love old love stories. Imagine getting stuck with your ex after a decade.

A Country Wedding

  • Director: Anne Wheeler
  • Star cast: Autumn Reeser and Jesse Metcalfe
  • IMDB Rating: 7

How much do people know their partners before they walk down the aisle? A man could believe he has found love only for someone else to come and open him up in a way he hasn’t been before.

This is what country singer Bradley faced after returning to his hometown shortly before his wedding. He intended to sell his childhood house, and however, he reconnects with Sarah, his childhood sweetheart and neighbor.

Sarah helps Bradley find a side of him he never thought he had. This makes Bradley reconsider his love choices and wonder how much he knows his intended bride. 2015 hallmark movies have always been about love, and this film is no different.

Bradley is left at a crossroads to choose if his bride is the wife he wants. The actors delivered solid performances to keep the movie entertaining.

Perfect Match

The two planners happen to be distinct in every way. However, after spending ample time together, they soon discover they can get along much better than they both imagined. When they met earlier, it didn’t go well.

Jessica, the wedding planner, is a single mom who has stayed away from love ever since she got burned. The rest of the cast got it right in delivering a super entertaining comedy despite the love tone. Perfect Match was released as one of the 2015 hallmark movies.

Family for Christmas

  • Director: Amanda Tapping
  • Star cast: Tyron Leitso, and Lacey Chabert
  • IMDB Rating: 6.3

Finally, we have one of the 2015 hallmark movies that don’t exalt romance. Instead, this film focuses on the choices we have to make in life. Lacey Chabert portrays the single television newswoman Hanna excellently.

A Christmas miracle allows Hanna to relive the life she would have had if she had made other choices. Maybe it is a dream. Nevertheless, she is presented with the opportunity to compare two different lives, and it was an experience that changed her.

Hallmark did an excellent job dealing with the shock of living an alternate life for Hanna. The concern and distress are natural and captured well. Imagine living a different life all of a sudden. I would get disturbed.

Choices have consequences, and Hanna understands that well in the movie. Now, you see, you have the choice to watch this film or not.

Love on the Air

  • Director: K. T. Donaldson
  • Star cast: Jonathan Scarfe and Alison Sweeney
  • IMDB Rating: 6.9

This movie will have you questioning whether it is one of the 2015 hallmark movies. It ticks all the boxes for a classic Hallmark movie but adds an extra topping. The main protagonist is a career-driven radio adviser to women.

Unfortunately, Sonia gets dumped by her boyfriend on-air, which is embarrassing and humiliating. Her boyfriend Scott dumped her after listening to a caveman episode hosted by Nick, and this setup is a recipe for entertainment.

Sonia and Nick end up falling in love but are unaware until the movie’s end. The actors gave a stellar performance to this film. I had to go back and check if it was a hallmark movie, and it was that good.

Try it out, and you won’t be disappointed. It is a step up from the average hallmark romance.

October Kiss

  • Director: Lynne Stopkewich
  • Star cast: Sam Jaeger and Ashley Williams
  • IMDB Rating: 6.5

October Kiss is a family-friendly, sweet movie about Poppy. She takes up a job as a nanny for the children of a workaholic dad; nevertheless, it follows the same trend as other 2015 hallmark movies.

Poppy is an upbeat young woman who decided to try the nanny job after her sister suggested it. Her first meeting with the children makes her attempt to quit, and however, she stays back after much persuasion from a desperate Ryan.

The bond between Poppy and the kids grows deeper as weeks pass by. On the side, the bond between her and Ryan is also growing.

But Ryan is a workaholic who has failed at his fatherly responsibilities. To add to that, he is also dating Abigail, a high-powered executive at work.

Poppy takes a step back from Ryan to save herself from a broken heart. But you know how hallmark movies go, and you can tell the rest from here. Love finds them both.

Harvest Moon

  • Director: Peter DeLuise
  • Star cast: Jesse Hutch and Jessy Schram
  • IMDB Rating: 6.4

What happens when a wealthy lady goes bankrupt? The harvest moon is one of the 2015 hallmark movies that seek to explore this. To some degree, it does it well but leaves much to be desired. It is not a bad movie, but it is not that spectacular.

A well-privileged city girl loses it all and goes bankrupt. The only asset that sticks with her is a pumpkin farm in a small town. She doesn’t take her new status so well and tries to sell the farm to fund her expensive lifestyle. That would be the worst idea ever.

The single dad that runs the farm goes the extra length to prevent her from rendering his family homeless. He works with the privileged girl to improve the value of the farm. Like every other Hallmark movie, love develops between them.

Ice, Sculpture Christmas

  • Director: David Mackay
  • Star cast: David Alpay and Rachel Boston
  • IMDB Rating: 6.7

Callie begins work at a country club restaurant. There she reconnects with her childhood friend, David, a wealthy member of the club. David registers Callie into the club’s Christmas ice sculpting competition.

Callie faces her boss, Chef Gloria, in the ice competition as an opponent. 2015 hallmark movies are here again with their love stories. David develops a romantic bond with Callie as she prepares for the competition.

What better way to celebrate Christmas than mixing cooking, sculpting, and romance. The story and setting are excellent and exciting.

Conclusion

2015 Hallmark movies provide you with an exciting blend of romance, family drama, comedy, and a bit of action. They are the perfect selection for an excellent family bonding time. Hallmark sticks to the love and romance formula so well. They are getting better every year.
